Stevenson University invites working adults to “Networking for Knowledge,” a unique opportunity to meet with current students, faculty and recent graduates of Stevenson’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies and learn more about the school’s accelerated bachelor’s and master’s degree programs for working adults.
The next “Networking for Knowledge” will be held Nov. 16, starting at 6 p.m. in Rockland Center on Stevenson’s Owings Mills campus. In addition to enjoying refreshments and networking, attendees will discover exactly what it is like to balance college with career and learn about career opportunities for those looking to advance their education. Stevenson’s programs allow working adults to enhance their careers while completing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in as few as 18 months, part-time.
After an informal networking session, faculty and staff from the School of Graduate and Professional Studies will hold specific information sessions about current online, onsite, and accelerated degree programs. Accelerated bachelor’s degree programs include Business Administration, Business and Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice (online), Interdisciplinary Studies, Nursing RN to BS (onsite or online), and Paralegal Studies. Accelerated master’s degree programs include Business and Technology Management (onsite and online), Forensic Science (onsite and online), and Forensic Studies (onsite and online) with accounting, information technology, legal, investigation, interdisciplinary, and criminalistics tracks.
Stevenson has also launched a new accelerated online Master’s in Nursing for RNs with a bachelor’s degree who would like to earn a master’s with a focus on either leadership/management or nursing education. Designed to be relevant, timely, and applicable to the growing demand for nurse educators and managers, the online program will help students to acquire the advanced knowledge and skills needed to move ahead in their professions.
