Mayor Sheila Dixon and the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts are proud to announce PNC Bank as the new title sponsor of the Neighborhood Grant Program.
PNC Bank Neighborhood Grant Program provides financial assistance to qualified neighborhood associations and community based nonprofit groups that continue to build the communities they serve. The awarded grants enable organizations to produce special events that strengthen neighborhoods and engage residents. Cash grants in the amounts of $200 to $1,000 will fund various activities including street festivals, parades, flea markets, concerts, health fairs, fundraisers, back-to-school rallies and more.

Eligible organizations can now apply for consideration. Entries will be judged by a selection committee based on grant program criteria. Events must benefit community residents and be open to the public. The application deadline for neighborhood events that will take place in February through June is February 2 by 5 p.m. The deadline for events taking place from July through December is May 4 by 5 p.m.
Grant recipients are required to send a representative to a grant workshop on methods for effective event planning, funding, logistics, public relations and volunteers. A workshop for events taking place in February through June will be held on February 14 at the Enoch Pratt Free Library- Southeast Anchor Library, located 3601 Eastern Avenue from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. An additional workshop for events taking place July through December will be announced at a later date.
