Corporate Office Properties Trust provided a $20,000 grant to the Howard Hospital Foundation in support of its ‘Care for Our Caregivers’ program.

The grant will help provide meals to the frontline caregivers at Howard County General Hospital, member of the Johns Hopkins Hospital System, a tenant in the Columbia Gateway Innovation District.

As part of the ‘Care for Our Caregivers’ program, COPT has involved some of its local restaurant tenants to participate by preparing the meals that will be provided to Howard County General Hospital. Participants include Abby’s Gourmet Deli, AIDA Bistro & Wine Bar, Fiero Mexican Grill and Glory Days Grill. The meals act as a token of appreciation for the workers fighting tirelessly to end the COVID-19 pandemic, while also providing an opportunity to help keep restaurant staff employed while their businesses are unable to offer dine-in services.
