Theodore P. Stein joins Whiteford’s new Bethesda office

Whiteford Taylor & Preston is pleased to announce Theodore P. Stein joined the firm’s Business and Litigation practice in Bethesda.

Stein is an experienced business and litigation lawyer, whose practice focuses on representing businesses and their principals in the areas of business, employment, employee benefits and ERISA law and litigation, as well as estates, trusts, guardianships and family law.

He received his law degree from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University in 1984, where he served as comment editor of the Law Review, and his B.A. (honors with high distinction) from the University of Michigan in 1974. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland.

“We are happy to welcome Ted to the firm,” Martin Fletcher, the firm’s managing partner, said. “Our Bethesda office, which opened earlier this year, is growing rapidly, both in number of lawyers and in breadth of practices, including business and litigation.”

“I’m excited to be joining Whiteford to help build the Bethesda office’s business and litigation practices,” Stein said. “The firm is well positioned to provide focused legal services and a high level of personal attention to its clients.”
