Commemorate the Fourth of July at Picnic at the Top. Visit the Top of the World Observation Level for great entertainment, food and a wonderful view of the Inner Harbor fireworks.
On July 4, from 7-10 p.m., guests can enjoy live music by the Tom Reyes Band and a continuous buffet, and the fireworks show starts at 9:30 p.m. Tickets purchased before July 1 costs $65 for adults and $25 for children. Tickets will cost $75 for adults and $30 for children after the July 1 special. Tickets are available at the Top of the World Gift Shop or by calling 410-837-8439. The facility will be open for regular visiting hours July 4 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Top of the World, a facility managed by Mayor Sheila Dixon and the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts is located at 401 E. Pratt Street on the 27th floor of Baltimore’s World Trade Center.
Picnic at the Top offers the Gourmet Picnic Menu, provided by Atlantic Catering. Visitors can choose from all beef “sliders,” ¼ pound all beef hot dogs, BBQ chicken, corn-on-the-cob, assorted salads, watermelon and an open bar, which includes beer, wine, malt beverages and soft drinks.
The Top of the World Observation Level offers an unparalleled view of Baltimore from the tallest pentagonal building in the world. The attraction features floor to ceiling windows with a breathtaking bird’s eye view offering the perfect spot for a visiting tourist or resident to take in the entire city. In addition, informative exhibits educate visitors about interesting landmarks in the city of Baltimore and its many historical and cultural neighborhoods. Top of the World’s regular operation hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday from 12-6 p.m. The last admission is allowed a half hour before closing. Regular admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and military, and $3 for children 3-12 years old. Group rates and advance ticket sales are also available.
