Loyola was ranked second with 333 points, one spot ahead of an upcoming Tiger for, Cornell, which garnered 324 points and four first-place nods. Yale and Duke finished fourth and fifth, respectively, with 315 points and 297 points. Duke collected the remaining first-place nod.

Towson also collected the number one spot in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll with 553 points, including 25 of the 28 first-place nods. Cornell was second with 491 points and the outstanding first-place selections. Loyola (463) was ranked third while Penn State (444) and Yale (444) tied for fourth.
