Tracy L. Steedman selected for the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry Fellowship Program

Niles Barton congratulates Tracy L. Steedman for being selected to participate in the American Bar Association (ABA) Forum on the Construction Industry Women and Minority Fellowship Program for the next three years. The Forum had over 50 applicants and selected only three Fellows nationwide. Steedman was chosen for her experience in construction law and her proven leadership skills that would benefit the Forum.

The Forum’s mission is to serve the construction industry through education and leadership. The Forum sponsors several seminars each year and publishes a scholarly journal, along with a newsletter and several treatises on construction law topics. The Fellowship includes opportunities for professional development, leadership and mentoring while allowing the Fellows to participate in Forum programs at no cost.

Steedman is a LEED AP construction attorney practicing in the firm’s litigation department. She represents institutional owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, design professionals and municipalities in all areas of construction law and civil litigation, including complex commercial construction disputes. She has litigated cases at the trial and appellate levels in both state and federal courts. Steedman received her B.A. from Towson University and her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law.
