Two Ballard Spahr attorneys, Teri M. Guarnaccia and Debbie A. Klis, have been named to Maryland’s Top 100 Women by the Daily Record. This is Guarnaccia’s third appearance on the list, making her a member of the “Circle of Excellence.” Both women will be honored at the awards event on May 6.
The annual Maryland’s Top 100 Women award recognizes the accomplishments of women who have achieved professional success and are making a difference through their leadership, community service and mentoring.
“This is the third consecutive year women from Ballard Spahr have appeared on the Top 100 Women list,” Roger D. Winston, managing partner of the Bethesda office, said. “Their consistent presence on this list illustrates the continuing success they have in the professional world and in the community.”
“We are particularly proud of Teri, who has been recognized three times,” Jon M. Laria, managing partner of the firm’s Baltimore office, said. “The work she does, both at the office and in the community, makes a difference in the lives of people across Maryland.”

Guarnaccia is on the boards of Baltimore Community Lending, a rehabilitation lending nonprofit organization; the Baltimore Freedom Academy, a charter middle and high school; and The Baltimore Station, a residential treatment program for those trying to escape poverty, addiction, or homelessness, where she is also the past president.
