UMBC ranked fourth on U.S. News and World Report’s most innovative national university list

U.S. News and World Report has ranked the University of Maryland, Baltimore County fourth on a list of the top 10 most innovative national universities.

UMBC is building a virtual reality system, which will enable new research in biology, math, engineering, visual arts and digital humanities, among other subjects, according to U.S. News and World Report.
