UMBC Training Centers Launches New Live Online Training Programs

UMBC Training Centers, delivering high quality, flexible, non-credit education and training programs, have announced the launch of their Live Online Training programs. These programs will enable students to take advantage of UMBC Training Center’s education and training programs from anywhere in the world.

With Live Online Training, students will have the same educational experience as being in the classroom without the added expense and hassle of travel.

“Today’s virtualization technology makes it possible to deliver our technical and Cybersecurity courses as Live Online Training,” said Jon Lau, Director of UMBC Center for Cybersecurity. “We can now push a complete student workstation environment to our students from the cloud, fully configured with all of the applications, tools and exercises needed to conduct the class.”

The Live Online Training program makes courses easily accessible for corporate and government customers who have employees in locations not close to one of UMBC Training Centers’ facilities.

“I’m excited to offer our students and corporate and government customer these Live Online Training programs, to better serve their education and training needs,” said Kent Malwitz, Vice President of UMBC Training Centers. “Now, students who could not make it to one of our facilities can experience the same high quality, instructor-led training as those in the classroom.”

Online IT classes are being offered throughout December, including sessions on HTML 5, Linux and Android Application development. For more information on course details and to register, please call (443) 543-5413.
