The third annual UNCF Howard County Leaders‘ Luncheon on October 18, 2018 will raise funds to allow UNCF to continue to provide scholarship assistance to students in Maryland and to support UNCF-member institutions.
Founded in 1944, UNCF remains the nation’s oldest and most effective organization in providing minority scholarship assistance. For more than 74 years, UNCF, the nation’s largest and most effective minority education organization, has provided financial support to ensure that our students can succeed and that UNCF-member institutions continue to keep moving forward toward the pursuit of educational excellence.
The Leaders’ Luncheon is scheduled to take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on October 18, 2018 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Columbia (5485 Twin Knolls Rd, Columbia, MD 21045). The keynote speaker is Dr. Freeman A. Hrabowski III, President of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
