The University of Maryland BioPark announced June 1 it will hold the next session in its Business of Bio series on June 15, beginning at 10:30 a.m. with nationally-recognized speakers on the topic of leveraging social media to build your online reputation. The free session will be held at the BioPark’s Life Sciences Conference Center at 801 West Baltimore Street in Baltimore.
Presenters at this informative session will include Eric Jones, Vice President of Digital Media, R2integrated, and Ed Bennett, Director, Web Operations, University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC). Jones guides companies like Microsoft and associations like the Biotechnology Industry Organization to understand, refine and track their online presence for branding and growth.
UMMC’s online presence has become one of the top hospital brands in the United States, and for the past 10 years, Bennett has led UMMC’s Web site and social media teams. Both experts will show you how your company and your research can be part of local, regional and global online scientific communities, and how to use your presence for your bottom-line growth.
