Support YouthWorks at November 13 benefit at Bar Vasquez

Celebrate and support Baltimore City’s efforts to provide working and career opportunities for Baltimore youths. A November 13 cocktail reception at Bar Vasquez will feature Argentine hors d’oeuvres, food stations, open bar, a silent auction and live music. One hundred percent of the event’s proceeds benefit YouthWorks.

YouthWorks has connected thousands of teens and young adults every year to summer work experiences throughout Baltimore City, providing necessary opportunities and additional incomes for youths. Participants work in a variety of industries and gain essential workforce readiness as well as career-specific skills.

VIP ticket includes: Access to upper mezzanine, small dinner plate and whiskey bar.

Corporate Sponsor Levels:

Gold: $3,000

  • Fund two youths in a 5-week YouthWorks summer job
  • Includes 12 VIP Tickets**
  • Recognition benefits: Name and logo acknowledgement on sponsor board and special thanks on YouthWorks website

Silver: $1,500

  • Fund one youth in a 5-week YouthWorks summer job
  • Includes six VIP Tickets** or 12 General Admission Tickets
  • Recognition benefits: Name and logo acknowledgement on sponsor board

Bronze: $1,000

  • Includes eight General Admission Tickets
  • Recognition benefits: Name acknowledgement on sponsor board

YouthWorks welcomes tax-deductible donations. It costs $1,500 to fund one youth in a YouthWorks summer job, but contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated and can be made online through the Baltimore City Foundation by choosing Mayor’s Office of Employment Development – YouthWorks 855-00 – to make your contribution. Checks can be made payable to Baltimore City Foundation/YouthWorks and mailed to MOED, 101 W. 24th Street, Baltimore, MD 21218.
