EDA Tech Hubs Director Eric Smith Visits the Baltimore Region
This week, we hosted EDA Tech Hubs Program Director Eric Smith and a team from the Department of Commerce in the Baltimore Region to meet with our consortium members and supporters, tour local innovation labs, and participate in ecosystem events.
This is the first formal visit we’ve received from Commerce to directly engage with our partners and it was a memorable day showcasing our region’s tech economy. Equally important, it was reassuring for our stakeholders to hear how important our initiatives are to the long-term success of the Tech Hub program and the vision of catalyzing greater economic opportunity in overlooked places.
So grateful for everyone who participated in the day’s events. There’s more to come, but we’d like to share the content and encourage you to as well.
