Adi Mwangi is a Project Management Intern at the Greater Baltimore Committee, where she supports operational coordination, project visibility, and process improvement across teams. She is helping lead GBC’s Monday.com pilot, contributing to SharePoint mapping, and supporting a range of operations tasks, including event setup and internal coordination.

Mwangi brings a blend of analytical, creative, and administrative experience to the role. A recent graduate of the University of Maryland, she earned bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Animation, combining technical precision with visual and systems thinking. Her academic and professional background has included project management coursework, an administrative assistant internship, and tutoring experience, all of which have helped her build the communication, organization, and coaching skills needed to support a project management rollout.

At GBC, Mwangi is helping make work more visible, structured, and collaborative by supporting tools and workflows that improve how projects are tracked and executed. Her ability to translate complex systems into clear, usable processes makes her a valuable contributor to GBC’s operations and team coordination efforts.

Outside of work, Mwangi enjoys reading, drawing, and writing, pursuits that reflect her creativity, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning.
