Audrey Bartholomew is Communications Manager at the Greater Baltimore Committee, where she leads strategic communications and marketing initiatives that shape how GBC’s priorities are communicated to external audiences. Her work spans digital platforms, executive visibility, key publications, and signature event communications, helping translate regional economic development priorities into clear, compelling narratives for business, civic, and institutional stakeholders.
At GBC, Bartholomew has led communications for high-profile convenings, including the organization’s 70th Annual Meeting, and has helped shape how regional leaders engage with major economic priorities. She directed the development of the 2025 Impact Report and GBC history video, using archival research, content development, and narrative strategy to elevate the organization’s public-facing story. She also manages GBC’s social media, website, local media coordination, and executive visibility efforts, while serving as staff liaison to the Baltimore Women and Allies Board.
Before joining GBC, Bartholomew held a series of communications roles with the University of Maryland’s Office of International Affairs, where she led content marketing, website management, social media strategy, and cross-campus partnership development. In that work, she increased content engagement and distribution by 20 percent through a targeted repurposing strategy, helped generate more than 5,000 new website visits through scholarship awareness campaigns, established editorial standards for unit communications, and increased content output by 300 percent through a weekly blog strategy.
A lifelong Marylander and graduate of the University of Maryland, Bartholomew holds a B.A. in English Language and Literature with a minor in Professional Writing. She brings a detail-oriented, audience-centered approach to communications, with experience spanning copywriting, brand identity development, media outreach, content strategy, website governance, and cross-functional project management.
