Erica Myers is Director of the Regional Innovation Office at the Greater Baltimore Committee, where she supports GBC’s Baltimore Region Tech Hub initiatives through consortium management, federal reporting, and strategy development. She works closely with the Vice President of the Regional Innovation Office to identify federal funding opportunities that advance economic initiatives and strengthen the Baltimore Region’s innovation economy.
In her role, Myers helps lead the coordination of GBC’s 48-member Tech Hub consortium and co-led the Baltimore Region’s Phase III Tech Hub proposal to the U.S. Economic Development Administration, a $25 million effort to position the region for long-term innovation growth. Her work sits at the intersection of economic development, workforce strategy, and stakeholder engagement, helping ensure that the region’s innovation agenda is aligned, competitive, and well-supported across sectors.
Myers brings deep experience in coalition management, nonprofit leadership, and partnership development across public, private, and civic sectors. Before joining GBC, she served as Director of Development at Venture for America, where she supported the launch of its individual giving strategy and helped manage relationships with high-network individuals and philanthropic partners. She also worked across community-based organizations in Miami, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and New York City, with early career experience supporting youth and young adults transitioning out of foster care.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Spelman College and a master’s degree in education with a focus on community and social change from the University of Miami. Myers was named a 2024 United Way of Central Maryland Changemaker Challenge winner, and her work has been featured in regional media including The Afro. She is known for building trusted relationships, coordinating complex stakeholder networks, and advancing initiatives that connect economic opportunity with community impact.
