Eugene Awagah is a marketing and communications professional with experience leading digital campaigns, content strategy, and audience engagement across entrepreneurship, culture, and community-focused initiatives. He brings a strong interest in entrepreneurship and ecosystem building, along with hands-on experience managing social media, email marketing, web content, and campaign analytics to drive visibility and engagement.

At Starfall NYC, Awagah has led brand communications across social media, email, SMS, and web, helping drive monthly digital reach of more than 60,000 accounts through storytelling, campaign planning, and audience engagement. He has overseen integrated product launch campaigns, managed the content creation lifecycle from copywriting to production and distribution, and worked across photographers, designers, manufacturers, and marketing contributors to ensure strong execution and consistent brand voice.

He also serves as Founder and Marketing Manager of Our Big Picnic, where he directs communications strategy for a large-scale annual cultural event that attracts more than 1,000 attendees across New York City and the DMV. In that role, he manages multi-channel campaigns, creative direction, sponsor outreach, vendor relations, and public-facing communications to strengthen brand recognition and audience growth.

In his current role with the Greater Baltimore Committee, Awagah supports content strategy and analytics across multiple channels, using performance insights to improve platform visibility, audience retention, and engagement within Baltimore’s startup ecosystem. His work reflects a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and operational discipline, with a focus on building polished, effective communications that support mission-driven organizations and regional growth.

Awagah is pursuing a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing at Morgan State University, with an expected graduation date of May 2027. He brings cross-functional experience, strong writing and editing skills, and a growing toolkit that includes analytics, CRM systems, email marketing, and design platforms such as Canva.
