Jeffrey Dufresne, CPA, is Vice President of Finance and Accounting at the Greater Baltimore Committee, where he leads financial strategy, accounting operations, grants compliance, and fiscal stewardship in support of GBC’s mission and long-term organizational sustainability. He brings more than 20 years of executive finance leadership across nonprofit, government, and regulated environments, with deep experience managing complex budgets, braided funding streams, and systems designed to strengthen operational performance.

Before joining GBC, Dufresne served as Chief Financial Officer for Employ Prince George’s, Inc., where he oversaw financial management for a $25 million nonprofit serving more than 30,000 job seekers and 8,000 businesses across Prince George’s County and the greater Washington region. In that role, he led budgeting, grants management, fiscal policy, and accounting while coordinating funding and compliance across 75 partner organizations within the countywide workforce system. He also supported the CEO, board, and workforce leadership team in advancing strategic priorities and ensuring transparency, accountability, and financial stability.

Earlier, Dufresne served as Chief Financial Officer for Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation, where he managed an $8 million nonprofit and oversaw finance, accounting, contracting and procurement, human resources, information technology, risk management, and facilities operations. Across that role and others, he built systems to integrate federal, state, local, and foundation funding; support grant compliance and closeout; and improve organizational efficiency and decision-making.

His earlier career includes finance and accounting leadership roles in construction, technology, and government contracting, where he developed strong expertise in ERP implementation, internal controls, cost accounting, labor compliance, and business process improvement. He began his career in public-sector auditing and consulting, including work at KPMG and the Vermont State Auditor’s Office, where he gained a strong foundation in financial statement audits, compliance, and internal controls.

Dufresne is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Maryland and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont. He is a member of the Maryland Association of CPAs and the CFO Leadership Alliance.
