Rimjhim Khandelwal is Director of Venture Advancement at the Greater Baltimore Committee, where she leads GBC’s venture advancement work, startup-facing programs, and the data infrastructure that tracks and elevates Baltimore’s innovation ecosystem. Her role sits at the intersection of relationships and systems, connecting founders, corporations, and investors while building the tools and partnerships GBC needs to make informed, high-impact decisions.

At GBC, Khandelwal has led the design and operationalization of a stage-aware founder assessment methodology, aligning a 13-member investor committee around a bias-aware, data-informed evaluation system for more than 150 entrepreneurs. Her work helped shift GBC’s decision-making from intuition-led to structured and evidence-based within three months of launch. She is also leading efforts to modernize GBC’s core startup dataset so that the organization’s Partnerships, Strategy, and Economic Investment teams have accurate, actionable data to support ecosystem intelligence and informed decision-making.

Khandelwal has played a key role in building and maintaining relationships across Baltimore’s startup and investment community, connecting more than 20 investors and 120 founders and helping facilitate $11 million in early-stage venture capital for regional companies. She also serves as GBC’s internal subject matter expert on startups, translating ecosystem intelligence into strategic recommendations that inform leadership decisions, investment priorities, and the visibility of Baltimore’s high-growth and high-potential companies.

Before joining GBC, Khandelwal evaluated more than 50 business models as a Venture Fellow at Hamilton Ventures and co-founded Eve Fund, a robo-advisory startup in India, where she led strategy and operations from concept to beta launch in just three months. She holds an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and a dual degree in Business Administration and Law from Gujarat National Law University. Her work has earned recognition as a Baltimore RealLIST Connector and a 2026 Rising Star in VC & PE.
