Join the Greater Baltimore Committee (GBC) as we convene the business community to discuss Vacant Housing & Community Redevelopment. This steering committee brings together leaders from across sectors to advance investment strategies, promote neighborhood development, and advise GBC on its work to support the City’s work on reducing vacant properties.
This kickoff session will outline our 2026 goals, define the committee’s core functions, and establish our strategy for informing the upcoming redesignation process and feature Meghan McCorkell, Executive Director of Live Baltimore providing an overview of their recent study on the Baltimore City housing market.

This initial kickoff meeting is open to both GBC partners and non-partners. Moving forward, steering committee meetings will be limited to GBC partner organizations.
