
The Advanced Manufacturing Exchange brings together leaders from established industry, startup and growth-stage firms, government, academia, and the investment community to explore the technologies, partnerships, and strategies shaping the future of manufacturing in Greater Baltimore and across Maryland.
Hosted by UpSurge Baltimore and the Greater Baltimore Committee, in partnership with Stanley Black & Decker, BlackSea Technologies, Early Charm Ventures, Pixelligent Technologies, Novel Microdevices, Johns Hopkins University, the Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland, Hamilton Associates, and TEDCO, as well as more partners TBA.
The Exchange features thought-provoking discussions, company showcases, and networking designed to connect established manufacturers with emerging technologies, research capabilities, talent, and capital. By bringing together innovators from across Maryland’s manufacturing ecosystem, the Exchange aims to catalyze new partnerships, accelerate commercialization, and strengthen Maryland’s position as a national leader in advanced manufacturing. The evening includes a fireside chat with Stanley Black & Decker leadership, a panel of growth-stage manufacturers building in the Baltimore region, and facilitated breakout conversations on three themes shaping the sector: innovation problem-solving, building a highly specialized workforce, and strengthening the regional supply chain.
